New Delhi, 24 October 2024: Airbus has opened its new headquarters in Delhi, marking a significant milestone in its journey to bolster India’s aerospace and defense sectors. This state-of-the-art facility will serve as a hub for all three of Airbus’s business units, fostering innovation and collaboration.

Airbus Soars Higher with New India Headquarters

Airbus, a global leader in aerospace and defense, has inaugurated its new India and South Asia Headquarters at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. This cutting-edge facility was inaugurated by Shri Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, the Honorable Minister of Civil Aviation, Government of India, in the presence of Airbus executives.

A New Era for Aerospace in India

The new headquarters symbolizes Airbus’s unwavering commitment to India’s aerospace and defense sectors. It will serve as a central hub for all three of Airbus’s business units: Commercial Aircraft, Helicopters, and Defence & Space. By bringing these units together, Airbus aims to strengthen its customer relationships and enhance its operational efficiency in India and the South Asia region.

Key Features of the New Headquarters:

Airbus has been a significant contributor to India’s aerospace industry, investing heavily in the country’s supply chain and talent pool. The company currently procures over 1 billion euros worth of components and services annually from Indian suppliers, supporting thousands of jobs.
